LIA's Law attending Washington meeting

Long Island Association president Kevin Law is attending a meeting Monday of a national coalition of regional business organizations aimed at giving a new voice to concerns about housing, transportation, energy and other issues.
The LIA will be the only New York business organization at the two-day meeting in Washington, D.C. It was organized by the Silicon Valley Leadership Group. Law and other Long Island business leaders met with the Silicon Valley organization in June.
Law said about 25 business groups from around the country will be represented. The groups will put together an agenda and lobby before Congress and the president, Law said.
