LIer Frank Mirando finalist on 'MasterChef'
GOING FOR BROKER.Frank Mirando, 28, a stockbroker born and raised in Holbrook (not Holtsville, as the Fox official bio states), has been named one of four finalists on Gordon Ramsay's "MasterChef." He and his fellow competitors cook for chefs Daniel Boulud, Alain Ducasse and Guy Savoy on tomorrow's episode at 9 p.m. before heading into the two-part finale Sept. 4 and 10. Like many a good Italian boy, "I started at a young age in the kitchen with my mother," Mirando tells Newsday, "learning how to make simple pasta sauces like crab marinara. It's just grown from there."
PREMIERES. The Duggar family returns with the season premiere of "19 Kids and Counting" Tuesday at 9 p.m. on TLC.
