Lilo's latest escapade is turning in her favor and Bynes is acting wacky
Lindsay Lohan may have been set up by the chef who claims the troubled star carelessly clipped him with her Porsche Cayenne, resulting in her arrest (again) and a misdemeanor citation for leaving the scene of an accident early Wednesday morning, according to published reports.
Hotel surveillance video of the incident showed that the victim "walked right in front of " the slowly moving Porsche with blinking lights. After the car made "slight contact," the victim did not topple to the ground as he claimed he had, but sprinted after it, according to a police source quoted in the Daily News.
Lohan, who has made no secret of her feelings of victimization by the world, tweeted a link to a story on TMZ (!) that also seemed to exonerate her.
Meanwhile, child star Amanda Bynes, miffed after Lohan questioned on Twitter why she was spared punishment for her driving mishaps, told friends that Lohan's latest legal imbroglio was her cosmic payback for talking "smack" about her on the interwebs. On Tuesday, Bynes was kicked out of an Equinox spinning class after applying make-up during the work out and behaving bizarrely, TMZ said. (You'd think these two would get along.)
Lilo apparently ignored the unsolicited advice from the ever reasonable Anderson Cooper, who said on his Tuesday talk show that if he were Lohan, "I would just be quiet and just do your job. Get off Twitter, just stop hanging out, and just do your job and come back. Everyone loves a comeback."
