You no longer have to spend $2,000 to get a table at Lily Pond, the East Hampton late-night spot where It Girls and the men who like to impress them create gossip column fodder while the rest of the world sleeps. Starting Friday, Unik, Jay Norris and Frank Cilione are launching the Hamptons Social Series: serving dinner indoors as well as in the garden, beginning at the relatively early hour of 9. Each Friday night, there will be a different party. Gourmet chef Philippe Chow will cater a more casual menu of family platters than you'll find at his nearby uber trendy Philippe restaurant.

Social fixtures architect/designer Campion Platt and his FameGame Co-Founder wife,Tatiana Platt, host the kick-off party. The club will donate a portion of the proceeds to Anthony Shriver’s Best Buddies International. A favorite charity of Tatiana’s, it fosters one-on-one relationships to help the intellectually and developmentally challenged.

Mark your calendars. Here’s what’s happening in the near future:

July 9: Celebration to toast "Warhol: From Dylan to Ducamp" exhibition at Eric Firestone's gallery benefitting the cutting edge Watermill Center for the Arts.

July 16: "Real Housewives of New York City" star Jill Zarin hosts for Help For Orphans International. A previous party she threw for them was featured in the finale of the Bravo reality show's second season. Remember the closing shot of Ramona Singer gyrating to the beat with erstwhile nemesis Simon Van Kempen?

July 23: Polo star Nic Rolden hosts to benefit St. Jude's
