Lindenhurst concert series starts Saturday

The Village of Lindenhurst will kick off its free summer concert series tomorrow.

The concerts will take place every Saturday night throughout the summer at the Village Square Park gazebo at North Wellwood and East Hoffman avenues. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair to the concerts, which will take place from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m.

Tomorrow’s concert will feature Union Jazz Coalition. The rest of the schedule is: July 7, Gypsy Felons; July 14, Fabulaires; July 21, Radioplay; July 28, Piece of the Rock; Aug. 4, Colors in the Air; Aug. 11, Stagger Lee; Aug. 18, Ridler; and Aug. 25, Grand Folk Railroad.
On Sept. 1, the Village Lanterne Restaurant presents Open Mic Night.
