Lindsay Lohan: I lied when I said my mom was on cocaine

Lindsay Lohan lied when she said her mom was on cocaine and left a "gash" on the starlet's leg during a dust-up outside of mom Dina's Long Island home on Wednesday -- according to Lindsay herself.

The "Mean Girls" star, 26, told TMZ that in the heat of the argument, she made up the falsehoods about her mom in a panicked phone call to her dad, Michael, that was leaked to TMZ.

"Mom does not do cocaine. That's a fact. She's an amazing woman," Lohan told TMZ Live on Thursday.

"We had a disagreement, then an argument, [and] people say things they don't mean in arguments."

Lohan and her mom got into the fight during a car ride from Manhattan to Dina's home in Merrick, and Linz called her dad and said Dina was "on cocaine" and was being violent.

Linz also backtracked on her other remark during the phone call: that the fight erupted over a $40,000 loan she gave to her mom.

Lohan said her dad is now "dead to her" because he leaked the call. "Everyone knows my father's main objective is discrediting my mom," she said.
