Early morning signal problems that caused delays to Long Island Rail Road trains in both directions through Queens Village Tuesday have been fixed, officials said.

Officials said trains on the Hempstead branch had been delayed up to 10 minutes in both directions. Additionally, platform signs were displaying incorrect information, due to this signal problem.

It was not immediately clear what caused the problem.

It also was not clear how many trains were affected.
