LIRR evening rush hits brief snag
According to a Long Island Rail Road service advisory, customers may face delays and cancellations into and out of Penn Station during the evening rush.
The advisory cites wire damage in an Amtrak East River tunnel as the source of the delay.

UPDATE: As of 8:08 p.m., all delays stemming from the wire damage had been resolved.
