LIRR: Extra trains running Friday for Passover

The Long Island Rail Road said it is operating 10 additional eastbound trains from Penn Station on Friday to accommodate customers leaving early to celebrate Passover.

The extra trains are on five branches between 1:48 p.m. and 3:48 p.m., the LIRR said.

Four are on the Babylon branch, three on the Port Jefferson branch and one each on the Port Washington, Ronkonkoma and Far Rockaway branches.
