LIRR: Person hit, Babylon westbound service suspended
The Long Island Railroad says westbound Babylon branch service has been temporarily suspended after a person was hit on the tracks.
The person was struck by a train at Bellmore, according to the LIRR.
Service on the eastbound Babylon and Montauk branches is also impacted, with delays of 30 to 40 minutes, according to the LIRR.
