The Long Island Rail Road was operating on or close to schedule in both directions through Jamaica after delays caused by earlier signal trouble, the railroad tweeted just before 1 p.m. Tuesday.

Scattered eastbound delays of 10 to 15 minutes persisted east Jamaica, the LIRR said.

The Long Island Rail Road had reported the delays, affecting all but the Port Washington Branch, just after 12 p.m.
