Lisa Naso - Scholar Artist for December

Lisa Naso, a student at the Long Island High School for the Arts (LIHSA) and Northport High School, has been involved in theatre for almost ten years. She has performed in various productions at the Smithtown Performing Arts Center, the Cultural Arts Playhouse, Airport Playhouse and the Northport Community Theatre. She participates in Northport High School's student-run Theatre Troupe, which puts on semi-annual productions. Lisa has been named to the honor roll every semester while attending both schools simultaneously. She was elected class representative for the Musical Theatre department at LIHSA, and an officer of the Northport High School drama club. She is enrolled in many Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate or Honors courses.

She hopes to pursue theatre as a career, by majoring in Drama in college.
