**FINAL**: The streak is over.

West Islip's 40-game winning streak was snapped when senior middie Mike Perettine scored on a low bouncer to the far post to give Farmingdale a 10-9 win.

The Dalers won their first Long Island title since 2003.

**End of regulation**: Yet again,  West Islip is headed to overtime. We're tied at 9.

Federico scored two in a row, the second coming with 3:33 to play, to give West Islip a 9-8 lead. But Tuttle scored his third of the day to tie with 1:11 left to tie it at 9 for Farmingdale.

First one to score wins. Will West Islip win its 41st-straight game, or will the Dalers finally end the streak?

**UPDATE**: After three quarters, we're tied at 7. Sagl leads West Islip with three goals, while Tuttle and Korey Hendrickson each have two for Farmingdale.

Looks like we're in for a great finish here at Stony Brook.

**UPDATE**: At the half, we're tied at 5. Sagl leads W.I. with two goals, while Tuttle has two for the Dalers. The first game was also tied at halftime, and BBP rolled in the second. Might the same happen in this one? We shall see...

**UPDATE**: At the end of the first quarter, West Islip leads 2-1. Sal Tuttle opened the scoring for the Dalers, but Mike Sagl and Nick Aponte scored nine seconds apart to give the Lions the lead.
