The New York Red Bulls have re-signed midfielder Lloyd Sam.
The MLS team announced the deal Tuesday without disclosing terms.
The 28-year-old Sam joined the Red Bulls in mid-August and had an assist in five games before suffering a knee injury in October.
Sam played in England with Charlton Athletic, Leyton Orient, Sheffield Wednesday, Southend United, Notts County and Leeds.
The Red Bulls went 16-9-9 last year, finishing with 57 points.
