Lobley's 4 goals lead Portledge boys

Nick Lobley scored his fourth goal of the game off a feed from Ben Fortgang with one second left to give Portledge a 6-5 win over Great Neck North Thursday in non-league boys lacrosse. Junior Ted Haggerty had a career-high 21 saves and Ed Desidario added two goals and an assist in the win.

Herricks 7, Sewanhaka 6: Siddarth Sharma scored on an assist from Jimmy Vasek (two goals) two minutes into overtime to win it for Herricks in non-league. Sewanhaka's Brenton Mighty scored with 30 seconds left in the fourth to force OT.

Elmont 7, Uniondale 6: Daniel Crawford scored with 56 seconds left in overtime to win it for Elmont. Willie Johnson (two goals) scored with 13 seconds left in regulation to send it to overtime for the Spartans.

GIRLS LACROSSE

Manhasset 10, Notre Dame Prep (Md.) 9: Halle Majorana (two goals) scored the winner with 20 seconds left in overtime to lift visiting Manhasset in non-league. Julia Glynn had three goals and Charlotte Avallone added two scores for Manhasset.

Sacred Heart 16, North Shore 15: Maggie Comiskey scored the winner off a feed from Maeve Quinn with 6:20 left for Sacred Heart in non-league. Becky Conto had four goals in the win.

SOFTBALL

Patchogue-Medford 15, Central Islip 0: McKenna Rowland tossed a five-inning no-hitter with one walk to lift Patchogue-Medford in a Suffolk League I-II crossover. Samantha Van Dorn had a grand slam in the bottom of the third inning.

Holy Trinity 5, Sacred Heart 4: Jordan Catalano singled in Tori D'Alessandro in the bottom of the eighth to win it for Holy Trinity in CHSAA.

BASEBALL

Garden City 3, Glen Cove 0: Kyle Ritchie struck out seven in a four-hitter to lead Garden City in a Nassau Conference AI-A-III crossover. T.J. Pallon's two-run single in the top of the third gave the Trojans a 2-0 lead.

Uniondale 10, Roosevelt 0: Chris Fuentes threw a three-hitter with 14 strikeouts, Mathew Inoa was 4-for-5 with four RBIs and Michael Barrett went 3-for-4 with five RBIs to lead Uniondale in Countywide.
