Sam Scolarici scored twice and Emily Morphitis made four saves as Hofstra defeated Northeastern, 3-0, Saturday in CAA women's soccer.
With the win, the Pride (10-7-0, 6-5-0) secured a CAA Tournament berth. Seeding and scheduling will be determined Sunday.
Dowling 7, Mercy 1: Megan Emanuelo scored twice and Karen Endresen had a goal and two assists to lead Dowling (12-5-1, 5-1-1 ECC). The Golden Lions clinched the No. 2 seed in the ECC Tournament, which begins Nov. 3.
Adelphi 0, Franklin Pierce 0: Sam Whitney made nine saves for Adelphi (8-7-1, 7-7-1 NE-10). Jocelyn Leon had five saves for Franklin Pierce (6-8-3, 4-8-3).

Sage 7, SUNY-Old Westbury 1: Gustavo Trinidad had three goals and an assist for No. 4 Sage (11-6-1) in the first round of the Skyline Tournament. Steven Burgos scored in the 63rd minute and Pablo Diaz made eight saves for No. 5 Old Westbury (6-12-1).
WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL
SUNY-Old Wesbury 3, Brooklyn College 0: Kristina Giordano had 27 assists, 11 digs and three aces to lead Old Westbury (19-14) in a 25-16, 26-18, 25-18 win. The senior notched her 2,000th assist and 300th ace. Ashley Greene added 11 kills and Ruth Vargas had 10.
Adelphi 3, Southern New Hampshire 2: Patawe Simms had 14 kills and Bianca Hernandez had 31 digs to lead Adelphi (16-7, 9-3 NE-10) in its 21-25, 25-9, 25-23, 19-25, 15-9 win. Katie Bryson added 38 assists and Emily Dorko had 12 kills.
St. Joseph's (LI) 3, John Jay 0: Melissa Garibaldi had nine kills to lead St. Joseph's (16-10) in a 25-19, 25-12, 25-20 win. Melissa O'Connell added 11 digs and Meghan Caiazzo had 12 assists.
Bridgeport 3, Dowling 1: Biljana Savic had 24 kills and seven digs for Bridgeport (16-4, 9-2 ECC) in a 32-30, 26-28, 25-17, 25-19 win. Bethany Shepard had 25 kills and 16 digs and Maja Potpara had 52 assists for Dowling (22-4, 10-1).
