The annual Long Beach Jazz Festival will take place from Sept. 19-22.
The event — in its 11th year — takes place at a host of locations around the city, with the Long Beach Public Library serving as the main venue. Performers this year are slated to include the Dean Brown Band, Uppercut and the Ted Rosenthal Trio.
“Eleven years and one major storm later, the Long Beach Jazz Festival remains a much anticipated entertainment event in our great city,” event producer Steve Adelson said in a statement. “The fan base we’ve won over the past decade has grown each year.”
The other venues are the Allegria Hotel, The Cabana, Lola’s, the Long Beach Historical Society Museum, Long Beach Hotel, Sutton Place and Sugo Cafe. Performances begin at 7 p.m. on Sept. 19 and end at 7 p.m. on Sept. 22.
