Long Beach has set its beach season schedule for this summer.

The city, which sets a schedule for its two miles of Atlantic Ocean beachfront every year, approved the 2013 schedule Tuesday night.

The beach will be open May 25-27, June 1-2, June 8-9, June 15-16, and June 22 to Sept. 2, the City Council decided.

The city is holding the line on beach pass prices this year, city officials said. The price of passes was raised a year ago.

Resident family plans cost $60 for the season. Nonresident families pay $120.

The city’s beach pass for resident individuals is $40 and nonresident individuals is $80.

The economy plan, which allows 10 admissions to the beach during the season, is $80.
The beach day pass is $12.

Passes went on sale Monday at the gazebo across from the entrance to Long Beach Ice Arena at 150 West Bay Dr.
