Janet Koch of Commack has been named executive director of Life's WORC, which serves the disabled, in Garden City. She was the organization's chief financial officer.

Mark L. Meinberg, partner-in-charge of EisnerAmper's private business services practice on Long Island, has been appointed to the Council of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Meinberg, a resident of Plainview, most recently worked at Feldman Meinberg in Syosset.
