TECHNOLOGY
Michele Gill of Upper Saddle River, New Jersey, joins Teq in Huntington as vice president of field sales. She was an area sales manager for Promethean in Manhattan.
ASSOCIATIONS
David J. Miller of East Meadow has been named president of the New York State Dental Association. He is chairman of the Department of Dental Medicine at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn and has a private dental practice.

Erik Ortmann of East Islip has joined Kaufman Dolowich & Voluck LLP in Woodbury in the construction law practice as a partner. He came from Goldberg & Connolly in Rockville Centre, where he was a partner in the firms construction law and commercial litigation groups.

Justin Uliano of Sunnyside has been appointed English department chairman at Sewanhaka High School in Floral Park. He previously was English department chairman at Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District.
