After opening the season with six consecutive wins, the Long Island Lutheran girls basketball team went through a mini slump with three consecutive losses. The Crusaders are back on track.

Long Island Lutheran pulled off a huge win over Bishop Ford, one of the top teams in the city, 53-48, in the Rose Classic Super Jam at Bishop Ford Monday night.

Boogie Brozoski scored 20 points and hit 5 of 6 free throws in the final 33 seconds to seal it. Staci Barrett had 10 points and 12 rebounds.

LuHi (10-3) trailed 40-35 after three quarters and used an 18-8 fourth quarter to win. The Crusaders broke a three-game winning streak with a win over St. Mary's and have won four straight.
