WINNING LOTTO TICKET

Check your tickets, Long Islanders.

The New York Lottery announced Thursday that the top-prize-winning ticket for the Sept. 2 TAKE 5 drawing was sold at a Massapequa store — KPPS Smoke & Card Store located at 27 Hicksville Rd. -- and is worth $63,195.50.

The top prize was won by matching five out of five of the winning numbers, which were 17-21-28-29-31. Additionally, 208 other tickets contain four out five of the numbers and are each worth $455.50.

New York Lottery is encouraging everyone who played the game to look at their tickets as they may be holding a winner. Tickets expire one year after the game's drawing. Prizes can be claimed at any one of the lottery's customer service centers including its Long Island office located at 25 South Service Rd. in Plainview.
