TRAFFIC AND TRANSIT
SOUTHERN STATE PARKWAY. The two westbound lanes at Exit 15 that were closed late Tuesday afternoon due to a crash have reopened.

WEATHER
Tuesday will be overcast with a 50 percent chance of rain and a high of 72 degrees. Tuesday evening should be partly cloudy, then clear with a low of 54 degrees.

SCHOOL THREATS. Threats made against two Suffolk County high schools — one in Mount Sinai, the other in West Islip — resulted in the arrest of a 15-year-old student in one case, while police are continuing to investigate the other on Tuesday, police said.
