WATER MAINS
The Suffolk County Water Authority is flushing water mains in Westhampton and Westhampton Beach within an area that is generally bounded by Old Country Road to Montauk Highway south to the Bay, and Tanners Neck Lane east to Oneck Lane.
TRAFFIC AND TRANSIT
LAKE SUCCESS: A rough road surface has slowed traffic on the Long Island Expressway eastbound between Exit 33, which is Lakeville Road, and Exit 34, which is New Hyde Park Road.
HOLTSVILLE: Traffic is slow due to an accident in a road construction area on County Road 97/Nicolls Road southbound at County Road 16/Portion Road.

WEATHER
It's muggy this afternoon, with a high in the mid 80s. The humidity means there is a chance of thunderstorms. Starting Friday, the weather turns spectacular. It will be sunny and in the mid 70s through Monday, with very little chance of rain.
