DEVELOPING
A Stanley Steemer truck parked in the driveway of a Jericho home caught fire Friday, according to a News 12 Long Island report.
Part of the house caught on fire during the incident, which happened on Hunt Court in Jericho.
WANTED
Suffolk County Police Second Squad is working with Crime Stoppers in seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a woman who allegedly passed counterfeit currency at an Elwood pharmacy.
According to a Suffolk police news release, she used 10 counterfeit $100 bills to purchase two prepaid debit cards worth about $1,000. She was described as heavyset and wearing glasses. No date for the alleged offense was given.
Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS (8477). All calls will be kept confidential.
