$72G TAKE 5 LOTTERY TICKET SOLD IN SOUND BEACH. Double-check the lottery ticket you bought Tuesday. You might just be $72,629 richer. The winning ticket for Tuesday's Take 5 drawing was sold at Shan Corner, 178 Sound Beach Blvd., according to a news release from the New York Lottery.

MAIN BREAK ALERT

PATCHOGUE. Water shutdown due to emergency water main repair on River Road. This will affect 25 residences and four businesses.

BAY SHORE -- SCHOOL BUDGET. The Bay Shore Union Free School District's Board of Education will hold its budget workshop meeting at 7:15 p.m. at the Bay Shore Senior High School, 155 Third Ave. The meeting is to discuss the 2014-15 school budget. Follow Sarah Armaghan's Twitter updates @ArmaghanS.

ISLANDWIDE -- VILLAGE ELECTIONS. More than three dozen villages on Long Island will hold elections on Tuesday. Amityville, Bellerose, Farmingdale, Head of the Harbor, Island Park, Mastic Beach, Munsey Park, Northport, Old Field and Stewart Manor have contested races for mayor or trustees.
