Another Take 5 drawing, another local winner.

For the fourth time this month the winning ticket in the nightly Take 5 drawing was sold on Long Island — this time, for the third time this month, in Suffolk County.

So far in December, nine of the 13 Take 5 drawings have had winners, some single winners and others with multiple winning tickets sold.

Of those, three winning tickets were sold in Suffolk, one in Nassau, four in Queens, three in Brooklyn and one each in Staten Island and the Bronx. Other counties around New York have accounted for four winners in that period.

The latest winning ticket was sold at the Bapa Card and Gift shop on Old Country Road in Riverhead, the New York Lottery said Wednesday. That ticket matched all five numbers — 1, 3, 7, 25 and 28 — drawn Tuesday night, earning the lucky ticket holder a first-place prize of $63,313, according to the lottery.

Another 256 players got four of five numbers correct, good for $370.50, while 8,786 got three of five right for $18. A total of 86,165 others had two out of five, good for a free ticket each.
