Winning numbers of 15, 24, 41, 9 and 39 with a Mega ball of 1 were drawn Tuesday for a $321 million Mega Millions jackpot that was the eighth largest in the history of the multistate game.

No one matched Friday's numbers -- 11, 29, 36, 58, 67 and Mega ball of 15 -- which increased the jackpot from $284 million.

Statewide, one ticket purchased in Queens did match five of the numbers -- but not the Mega ball -- and was worth $1 million, according to the New York Lottery website.

Four other tickets, two sold in California and two in New Jersey, also matched five numbers and were worth $1 million each, according to the Mega Millions website.

Typically, sales increase when jackpots reach or exceed $300 million, lottery experts say, which means a jackpot bump from $321 million is probable.

Tuesday's jackpot falls short of the largest in the game's history, $656 million on March 30, 2012. That prize was shared by three winners, in Kansas, Illinois and Maryland.
