That dream of being a millionaire grew a little larger on Tuesday.
The Powerball jackpot for Wednesday got a $50 million bump — to $450 million — because of increased ticket sales, according to Powerball.com.
The grand prize is the sixth largest in the history of multistate big-game jackpots, surpassing an August 2013 jackpot of $448 million, and is worth a lump-sum payment of $275.4 million.
The record Powerball jackpot is $590.5 million in May 2013, and the richest jackpot in U.S. history is $656 million in a March 2012 Mega Millions drawing.
