A Stand Against Cyber Bullying town-hall meeting will be held tomorrow in Lynbrook, hosted by interim school Superintendent Melissa Burak, State Assemb. Brian Curran (R-Lynbrook) and Hempstead Town Senior Councilman Anthony J. Santino.

The meeting will start at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of Lynbrook High School (9 Union Ave.). The guest speaker will be Det. Peter Badalucco of the Nassau County Police Department.

The forum is meant to help students and parents confront the dangers of cyberbullying, and learn about its effect on children.

“The dangers of online socialization reach far beyond what one entity can oversee,” Burak said in a statement. “The school, home and community must come together to teach our children ways to protect themselves.”
