Mall Walking Program to begin Nov. 5 in Oyster Bay Town

With the arrival of fall, the Town of Oyster Bay is ramping up for its twice-weekly Mall Walking Program.
The exercise program runs from Nov. 5 to Dec. 6 at Broadway Mall in Hicksville and Westfield Sunrise Mall in Massapequa.
The Hicksville program runs Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 to 11 a.m. with participants meeting in front of the escalator near the Ikea entrance.
The Massapequa program runs Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 to 11 a.m.; walkers meet on the main level near J.C. Penney.
Registration forms can be picked up at Town Hall North and South, community parks and libraries. They can be returned to the Recreation Division at the Parks Department in Town Hall South, 977 Hicksville Rd., Massapequa, or handed in the first day of the program.
