Police say Wilfredo Figueroa, of Ridge, blew a stop sign and almost slammed into an unmarked police car in Shirley -- all with a 9-month-old in his car.

A Ridge man accused of driving high with a 9-month-old child in his car was indicted by a grand jury.

Prosecutors say Wilfredo Figueroa, of Ridge, blew a stop sign and almost slammed into an unmarked police car in Shirley near Moriches Middle Island Road and Puritan Drive in April.

His girlfriend's baby and two other people were in the car at the time.

Police say they found heroin and marijuana inside the vehicle when they arrested Figueroa.

He pleaded not guilty to six charges in court Monday.
