A man staying at a tent inside a makeshift protest camp has been arrested and charged with armed battery on another man in the camp.

Tampa Police say 24-year-old Dante M. Sea was charged with aggravated battery Tuesday after he hit 60-year-old Eddie Thomas and broke Thomas' jaw.

Police say Thomas was staying in a shed in back of a military surplus store and Sea was sleeping in a tent on the same property. It's where Republican National Convention protesters have been staying and protesters have dubbed it "Romneyville."

Police say Sea took a piece of cardboard from Thomas' shed and the physical altercation broke out.

Sea was also charged with a marijuana possession warrant. He's being held at the county jail and it's unknown whether he's retained an attorney.
