Nassau County Executive Edward Mangano will be the featured speaker at the South Merrick Community Civic Association meeting on Tuesday to address issues associated with the aftermath of superstorm Sandy.

The special meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Merrick Road Park Golf Course Clubhouse, 2550 Clubhouse Rd. Refreshments will be served.

Representatives from various county departments are expected to attend to help residents with post-Sandy questions, said civic group president Joe Baker. The civic association’s School Security Committee will also give an update about school security.
