Maragos, Venditto to speak at Hicksville center

Nassau County Comptroller George Maragos, who is also a Republican primary candidate for the U.S. Senate, and Town of Oyster Bay Supervisor John Venditto will speak at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Hicksville Community Center on Carl Street.
Maragos will discuss Nassau’s financial condition, the county’s 2012 budget, its upcoming boot-and-tow program for parking and red-light camera scofflaws and what he is doing to save taxpayers money.
Venditto will answer residents’ questions about their town-level concerns. The event is free.
