The Jets haven’t been to the Super Bowl since January 1969 and haven’t made the playoffs since the 2010 season, but they have a small presence in Atlanta. Former Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez is featured in a spoof video with “Tom Brady” put out by GOAT Farm Media Monday.
Sanchez stars as the “Road Playoff Win Guru,” and he’s dressed in his No. 6 Jets jersey. Sanchez is on the phone with Rex Ryan, references the former Jets coach’s book and asks him what “pound-sign butt-fumble means” as a pretend Brady walks in.
Brady is seeking advice about winning on the road before playing the Chiefs in the AFC title game. Remember, it’s a spoof.
Sanchez won four road playoff games as Jets quarterback, including one in New England. (Brady now has four, too.)
Sanchez asks the fake Brady for two flights to the Super Bowl and two sideline passes and gives him a manual for winning playoff games on the road.
