Mark Zuckerberg to host fundraiser for Gov. Chris Christie

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla, will host a fundraiser at their home in Palo Alto, Calif. for New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie on Feb. 13, Facebook said Thursday.

Zuckerberg and Christie, who is seeking a second term as governor, have a strong relationship, which they maintained after working together in 2010 when the Facebook CEO donated $100 million to Newark Public Schools. "[The Zuckerbergs] admire his leadership on education reform," a Facebook spokeswoman said.

Christie has already raised more than $2 million, finance numbers released Tuesday showed.
