(AP) — Olympic gold medalist Jennifer Heil finished first in moguls qualifying ahead of American Heather McPhie at the World Cup event at Canada Olympic Park on Saturday.

The Canadian, who won her 21st career World Cup title the day before, finished with 23.71 points. McPhie had 23.11 and Japan's Aiko Uemura was third with 22.91.

American Shelly Robertson qualified fifth and Emiko Torito was 10th.

In the men's event, Dale-Begg Smith of Australia and Alexandr Smyshlyaev of Russia (23.21) were the top two, followed by overall World Cup leader Jesper Bjoernlund of Sweden (23.00).

Kashima Sho was the top American qualifier in seventh, and countryman Bryon Wilson was 13th.
