Because of an expected high turnout, Friday's vigil for the Medford shooting victims has been moved to the Brookhaven Ampitheater on Bald Hill, a large concert venue.
The vigil's original venue, Hallock Park in Patchogue, would be too small for the event, said Deacon Glenn Diener, who is helping organize the vigil.
The vigil is scheduled to organize at 7 p.m. and begin at 7:30 p.m., Diener said.
More information is available by calling Diener at 631-205-8802.
