Officials from the Nassau County public works department will speak tonight about the project to reconstruct West Shore Road in Mill Neck at a joint meeting of the Oyster Bay and East Norwich Civic Associations.
The road along Oyster Bay Harbor linking Oyster Bay and Bayville has been closed since it was undermined by superstorm Sandy in October.
The 7 p.m. meeting, open to the public, will be at the Italian-American Club on Summit Street in Oyster Bay.
The speakers will be project manager Donna Boyle and press secretary Michael Martino.
Rebuilding of the seawall is nearing completion and paving the roadway should begin by the end of this month, according to Martini.
West Shore Road is expected to be fully open by Fourth of July weekend, but may be partially open before then.
