Mel Gibson to get increased custody of daughter
Despite his highly public, intemperate phone calls to former girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva, as well a recent mysterious, single-car crash in which police say no drugs or alcohol were involved, Mel Gibson will have increased custodial rights with the couple's 9-month-old daughter, Lucia, a judge has ruled.
Los Angeles Judge Scott Gordon, citing a negotiated but uncompleted agreement Gibson and Grigorieva struck in May, has ordered that Gibson's current 20 percent custody be doubled to 40 percent when Lucia turns 1 on Oct. 30, radar Online.com said Monday.
"Oksana is furious," an unnamed source told the website. "She is convinced Mel is not fit to be alone with Lucia."
A hearing in the case was held last Wednesday. The next is set for October.
