State Sen. Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) and the Merrick Lions Club International will sponsor an eyeglass and hearing aid donation program on Saturday.

The program will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at the Merrick Long Island Rail Road station parking lot, on the northwest corner of Merrick Avenue and Sunrise Highway. Residents will be able to drive up, drop off their old or unwanted eyeglasses and hearing aids, and drive away.

All eyeglasses and hearing aids collected will be used by the Lions Club to help improve the lives of needy children and adults, organizers said.

For more information, call Fuschillo’s office at 516-882-0630.
