Michael Sam, fiance announce splitSixmonths after announcing their engagement, Michael Sam, the first openly gay player to be drafted by an NFL team, and former Missouri swimmer Vito Cammisano have reportedly parted ways, TMZ reports. Sam has apparently deleted photos of Cammisano and himself on his Instagram and Twitter accounts. Cammisano is seen without a ring on his finger in a YouTube video posted Saturday. Sam and Cammisano met in 2009 at the University of Missouri but didn't start dating until 2011. They broke up during Sam's senior year in college but got back together.
