The New York State Swimming and Diving Championships will be held in Buffalo with the preliminaries taking place Friday, March 2 and the finals on Saturday, March 3.

Fans who aren’t able to make the trip upstate can get live results from the meet by downloading the Meet Manager application developed by HY-TEK. The application is available for free download from the Apple app store and is can be installed on the iPhone, the iPad or the iTouch. Meet Manager can display each heat’s and event’s result including splits and places.

Fans can also see where their favorite team or swimmer is ranked in each event by going to section8swim.com and viewing the NYS State Meet Psych Sheet. If there is an “8” next to a team name or a swimmer’s name, that means the team or swimmer will be representing Nassau County. An “11” next to the name means the team or swimmer will be representing Suffolk County.

Suffolk will be sending a total of 30 swimmers to the state meet and Nassau will be sending 31 swimmers, the county’s largest group ever.
