The Hendrick Hudson Lions Club will host a clam bake and adult kickball tournament starting at 1:30 p.m. on April 28 at Mt. Carmel Hall/Field in Verplanck.

The winning kickball team will receive a prize and an awards will be handed out to the team with the best name, cheer or attire. Teams are encouraged to wear uniforms or costumes.

All-you-can-eat clams, shrimp, steak, desserts and beverages will be offered at a separate cost.

"Our goal is for everyone to have a great time," said Michelle Kahn, one of the organizers of the fundraiser.

The clam bake is $45. Groups of seven or more can pay an additional $10 to participate in the kickball tournament, or $15 for individuals without a team. Tickets must be purchased in advance online at the Lion's Club website. For more information, email info@henhudlions.org.
