Mooney on Dart: 'He's calming down and he can just play quarterback'
The biggest difference in Jaxson Dart from the start of training camp to now hasn’t been in his aptitude but his attitude, at least according to wide receiver Darnell Mooney.
“At first I would say he was pretty pissed off with a couple things at the beginning,” Mooney said of Dart’s disposition when the team first took the field in West Virginia roughly two weeks ago. “A lot of guys are trying to figure out everything, we are trying to learn the playbook. Now that guys know the playbook things are running a little bit more smoothly. He’s not having to help everyone out. We can help him.”
That has allowed Dart to put the focus back on his job rather than everyone else’s, and it’s made him a happier training camper for it.
“He’s calming down and he can just play quarterback,” Mooney said.
