MTA worker dies after cardiac arrest on subway in Queens
An MTA worker died after he went into cardiac arrest on the subway Wednesday afternoon, according to union and MTA officials.
Revenue equipment maintainer Robert Bucci was reported as possibly deceased on the E train about 12:45 p.m., officials said.
FDNY medics tried to resuscitate the unconscious man at the Jamaica Center -- Parsons Avenue station, then rushed him to Jamaica Hospital. He was then pronounced dead at the medical center about 2:05 p.m.
Revenue equipment maintainers work on turnstiles, MetroCard machines, and bus fareboxes, according to the MTA.
