Mysterious car shuts down Brooklyn Bridge

An abandoned car at the base of the Brooklyn Bridge stalled traffic in both directions during the evening commute Monday.

A police bomb squad investigated the vehicle, which had no license plates, in the right lane of the Manhattan bound side that was spotted at 5:15 p.m., cops said.

Police shut down the bridge in both directions for more than an hour while they conducted their investigation.
