N. Hempstead seeks water district commissioner

The Town of North Hempstead is seeking candidates for commissioner of the Carle Place Water District, officials said Friday.

The resignation of Commissioner Joseph Passariello leaves a vacancy on the board.

Applicants should send a letter of interest and resume to Ellen Birnbaum at Town Hall, 220 Plandome Rd., Manhasset, NY 11030, or email birnbaume@northhempsteadny.gov no later than Dec. 5.

The town board will vote for the new commissioner.
