Long Island NASCAR fans have a chance to announce part of the starting lineup for May 19’s Sprint All-Star Race at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, N.C. -- without even having to go to the race.

As part of the Sprint All-Star Announcers contest, fans can submit brief videos introducing their favorite driver.

A panel will choose one winning submission for each driver, and those videos will be shown on a high-definition video board for fans attending the race and the SPEED network’s live broadcast. Winners will receive a custom autographed NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race helmet.

Fans have until May 6 upload their videos to sprint.com/speed. Judging will be based on originality, creativity and enthusiasm.
